Gold Rover

Gold Rover, an RFA Tanker, in horrific weather conditions in September 1991.

Oil Mariner and Indomitable were called out to assist Gold Rover after she had reported steering problems. On arrival, in seas of 45 to 50 feet, the rudder stock could be seen, but the rudder had gone completely.
