The End Of Work Barbeque

After ten days of beautiful sunny weather, the mooring work was finished. We decided to have the annual barbeque on the Saturday evening. It snowed!

Just to the left of centre in the green trousers and blue top is the Captain - Malcolm Eglon. The chap with the white pullover is the Salvage and Moorings Officer - Mike Cobbold. Over on the far right in the blue and white top is the Bo'sun - Norman Jaimeson. Norman hails from Shetland, was employed in the South Georgia whaling as a boy, and one of his models - a whaler in a bottle is in the museum at Grytviken.
