Nordenskjöld Glacier

The Nordenskjöld Glacier seen from Cumberland East Bay. The glacier is named after the leader of the Swedish South Polar Expedition of 1901 - 1903, Otto Nordenskjöld.

From a distance, the edge of the glacier appears quite smooth. As you get closer the true ruggedness emerges.
